Łukasz Nyk, MD, PhD
Dr. Łukasz Nyk is a valued Urology specialist, Head of Urology Department at Fryderyk Chopin Hospital at the European Health Center in Otwock and Assistant Professor at the 2nd Department of Urology CMKP. Accredited by the European Board of Urology, he holds the prestigious title of FEBU (Fellow of the European Board of Urology).
A graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University in Warsaw, Dr. Nyk gained experience in renowned centers in Poland and abroad, including: Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, Urology Clinic of CMKP, as well as at the Department of Oncological and Surgical Sciences at the University of Padua. He also obtained a scholarship from the Kościuszko Foundation to the University of Chicago, where he developed his skills in minimally invasive and robotic urological surgery.
Dr. Nyk specializes in oncological urology, urological laparoscopy, endourology and the use of modern technologies such as robotic surgery and HIFU. He has performed over 1,000 laparoscopic radical prostatectomies and approximately 200 robotic surgeries.
Outside the operating room, he is passionate about sports, in particular road and mountain biking, swimming and Kyokushin karate. He is also interested in motoring and traveling.
